If anyones a pretty serious gambler and by that i dont mean an addict. I mean someone who has a bet a few times a week maybe everyday but not too much cash. Theres a website called Spankthebookies.com. You pay a monthly fee and they put bets up i think normally a horse double. a lucky 15 and some footie bets, every day. In the few months i have been following them they have turned over A 1000GBP Profit at least each month, 1 month was 2000GBP. Just wanted to mention it, so some of you can make some cash finally. you can also follow them on twitter @spankthebookies.
I'm never convinced by these tips websites. The only way you can consistently beat the bookies is if you have more insider knowledge than they have or if you're betting against the majority of 'casual' betters that help swing the odds more in your favour. The more important figure is how much did they put up to make the £1000 profit? They could just as easily have made £100,000 profit each month if they have the capital to risk.
For a small stake of a tenner you will find plenty of fun low risk stakes to try...... 90 Bets Challenge: Starting with a tenner go double or nothing 90 times on bets of 1/10 and you end up with 50k. 300 Bets Challenge: Start with a tenner and back the under 6.5 goals market 300 times usually terrible odds of like 1/33, 1/50 etc going double or nothing 300 times for ten grand. I also like this long thread....... http://community.betfair.com/football/go/thread/view/94070/29824885/zezes-challenge?pg=1 Very lucky guy to reach 10k in four days with only 20 odd bets, but he did start with 200 and not a tenner.
just do what i do and follow them on twitter. I think there stakes are 10 quid bets, but im not sure of that. You dont have to do the 10 quid I used to do a 3 pound lucky 15 everyday when i was in blighty.
I've done it 3 times where I've started with a fiver & cashed out at £300, I paid for my stag do like that!
On the 300 bets thing, let's say discounting the bookies edge the actual chance of there being over 6.5 goals is about 1 in 25, or approximately 0.04. The chances of you winning 300 bets at 0.96 is approximately 1 in 208,271.
I love that 90 bets thing - if you take in to account boxing, tennis, etc. you could have some fun trying to get your £10 up to serious money. Like most I would cash out at anything over £300
Yeah it's a good bit of fun. I started my tenner friday night with Usain Bolt at 1/8 to win the 100 metres. Added others since like Spurs to beat South China and Man United to win today and after 8 bets it's 41 pound odd. Probably aim for 52.50, Withdraw 42.50 to get a free replica shirt and start again with the tenner left over. Thought about our old mate Keef winning at Winsford at 1/8 but not sure.
Think when the season starts again im gonna have a tenner on a big odds on double (couple of 1/3 football teams maybe) and then if I win, have another the day after, see how far I can get. Hopefully if I make say £60, ill double my stake. No fool proof ways of making cash though. Tried it last season and my downfall was investing all the money id made off of the first 4 bets (about £23) on MK Dons beating Cambridge City away from home in the FA cup, 8/15 they were and they drew 0-0. Gave it up after that.
What I try to do is double my money with each bet, I once did a 1/1 betting challenge, started with £10, kept betting on games at evens until I got to £160, withdrew £150 then started again with a tenner. Trouble is them games at evens have a nasty habit of letting you down! I then started picking 2 games at odds around 1/2 (2/5, 8/15 and so on) & the double generally returns just above evens. Obviously a team at 1/2 is seen to have twice the chance of winning than a team at 1/1, generally even better if said team are away from home. As I said previously using this method I have won £300 from a tenner on 3 occasions!
In principle, there is a fool proof way of making money. Start with £1. Put it on red on a roulette wheel. You have close to 1/2 chance of winning each time. If it's red you win £1 and you finish. You take away a profit of £1. If it's black you lose your £1 but you double the stake to £2 and put it on red again. If it's red then you win £2, £1 of which covers the £1 lost, leaving you with a profit of £1. If you lose for a second time you double your bet again to £4. If you win this time you take away £4, £3 of which covers the stake lost on the previous bets, again leaving you with a profit of £1. You continue to double your bet until you win and no matter how long it takes, you will always make a profit of £1 and you can then start the process again. In principle, free money.
Futbol 24 is a good app for following the bets, it shows a forecast to help you decide who to pick & then you can get push notifications for events during the games
Are the online casinos not fixed though? I had quite a bit in my Betfair account (after some lucky bets on Peterborough last season!) so I tried this in their online casino and it came up on black 4 times in a row. As their minimum bet is a fiver, that was twenty quid waxed (I didn't double it as it all looked a bit suspicious and I got twitchy!) and so decided to stop!
if the table has a maximum bet amount its very easily reached doubling your bet... it is a good principle though and the only sure fire way to win in a casino.... might be worth opening a couple of penny stakes tables and seeing how long it takes to make £50 or something
That's the Martindale system. Its a good way to keep making money until you lose - either running out of money to keep upping the stakes or reaching the limits for the table/bookie.
Damn you Andrew! Got me obsessed with this one now. Started this tonight, but got a bit carried away and put a tenner on Zagreb and PSV to both win tonight at 4/11 each. Both were 0-0 at HT, but midway thru 2nd half PSV were 2-0 up. Zagreb still 0-0. Until 89mins when they got their winner. £18.60 in my account now to roll onto the next bet, but from now on will stick to the higher odds of 1/10. Slower process but in-line with your theory. I'd be happy to pocket enough money for my PS4 fund before Christmas in all honesty.
