    Referee tonight.
    Card happy, demoted by the Premier League, and he's from Burnley's neighbours Bolton. Rather strange appointment if you ask me for a Roses clash.
    Im not too sure why, but when I heard it was Mason, I got a bad feeling. Has he ever had a nightmare reffing one of our games? The only time I know of - someone just reminded me - was the Playoff Final with Swansea. My mate says he had a mare but I was pretty much half-cut and dont remember noticing him.

    There are worse refs. He gave us a pen away at Blackpool in yr they went up. we robbed em that day.

    If he's from Bolton then no love lost with Burnley.....sounds like they'd have more to be worried about than us!

    Let's hope so.
    Just had a look at their sites, and they are REALLY slagging him off. Not a Burnley favorite apparently. So maybe your right and he will be a Boltonian, rather than a Lancastrian tonight..

    He gave them a penalty 10 minutes before for a handball when the ball hit Shotton's chest. They had only one player that day, three guesses who.
