BFC are signing 3rd and 4th level players and are charging Championship (2nd level) entrance money.

The simple reason why crowds are reducing is we are wathcing abolsoute sh!te.

Ive had a season ticket for 20 years+ and today was the "nail in the coffin"...... FINISHED WITH IT.

Forget spending ~£400 on a season ticket and the ~£30 on beer and food (with 11 year old daughter).......it's a total waste of monety and the entertainment value is zero.

Barnsley people are generally honest and hard working folk...............they will not stand this sort of sh!te and next season will be <8K crowds.

PS : Keith - if you sign a Championship player (and also some Premiership experience) in Mr Cotterill, wouldn't be a bad idea to play him would it?

THINK YOU'VE LOST THE PLOT SON

have you looked at ST pricing in the 3rd division and the rest of the 2nd division?

Our £30 match day prices excepted we are one of the cheapest clubs to support in the championship and cheaper than many in league 1

Hopefully they'll get rid of the Category system next year and charge £23 for every match with Oakwell 1912 Members getting in for £18.

Whatever price/category is...............we (fans) are paying decent money and are watching sh!te football.

Anyone who tries to defend this are simply kidding themselves and need a reality check.

Next season will be a joke.................

Hill is buying lower league players because he has virtually no budget to work with.

I also think( I could be wrong though) that he is trying to prove that he is better than Robins, by ONLY taking lower league players on full time contracts, he still likes to use the same amount of loanees though.

Would argue the loanees were forced on him by injuries and losing Vaz Te and Drinkwater.

Cotterill, Edwards, Tongue, Smith, McNulty - none of those were lower league?

You may have a point Mark however I think he will bring a couple of championship players in during the summer. I am pretty sure he knows he needs some.

Yeah because Hill has got a fantastic CV eh? 1 promotion and Rochdale playing football.
Robins kept us up after taking over from Simple Simon and he kept Rotherham in the league after they had 25(?) points deducted. Not much difference in them to be fair matey.

Smith and Tonge, loans mate, McNulty was from Brighton who had just got promoted, not played for them in the Championship had he?
Loans such as the fantastic Cameron Park, Franke Nouble, equal to Nouble and the young lad from WBA(New Zealander) cant remember his name at all at the moment. Chris ??? Just shows how much of an impression he made eh?

I think Robins was a poor choice of manager, said so at the time and have not changed my mind either, not sure about Hill, seemed to be doing OK then seems to have lost the plot!
Oh I dont know if I have mentioned this but Hill`s accent is fooking annoying!!

hes not lost anything apart from 6 midfielders who are very good players.
and edwards and hassell from defence.
FFS just think about the changes.
