WEll done lads. Without a doubt we were the best of the three sides there today. I think we always had a good team but never ground out the results we deserved. Till now. We kept possesion well, and built from the back. I was particularily pleased with the way we harried the opposition when they had the ball. Even if you don't make the tackle, you're still rushing the player into a pass, which often gave us the ball or sent it into touch. I'm a big believer in working your man, which why you'll here me shouting it a lot during the match. Well done to the midfield, who worked very hard on a fast surface to get a foot on the ball. You'll find it a lot easier on grass. Special mention to Ed, my player of the day. He buzzed around the pitch like an angry wasp. Get some shin-pads though. And hard lines to the lads upfront, Si and Rob. Worked hard for little reward. Lots of running. Next stage for you two is to start making runs to make space for each other, I think you both have the ability and enough going on upstairs to do that, where-as most strikers at this level don't. Keep it up. Nice to see a few new faces, they definetely impressed, and hopefully we'll see them at training next week where we can grind their enthusiasm down with a bit of circuit training. Richie managed to stay off the cider, although he was probably dreaming of cider fueled shenanagens when he blazed over with the last kick of the game with scores level. Nice. So well done lads. Todays games were the best I've seen us play. we'll only get better and fitter. I think we need to have a chat about movement from throwings though. Bit lazy at times. I'll have a think about it for next week.
