That depends who you listen to... Overall, Ridsdale's two year forecast of a loss of £5m is accurate...he just forecast a loss of £3m in year one and £2m in year 2, whereas we actually lost £3.5m in year 1 and £1.5 in year 2.
RE: That depends who you listen to... Thought it said losses were 1.2m. That means PR's forecasts were more inaccurate than we thought.
either way we're moving in the right direction, and if we go up they should drop even more with the extra revenue generated, as long as we are sensible!
You mean if we listen to you. Ridsdale was accurate but just happened to overspend by half a milion quid in the first year. You predict he would have been correct over subsequent years though.
Ok.

RE: You mean if we listen to you. I do think he would have been correct over the forthcoming years. The additional costs in the first year were "significant one off costs relating to the previous administration, that were unknown at the time of the forecasting" Not disputing that Mr Shepherd has done a sound financial job, just think that Ridsdale is not as bad as is made out. Ok.
RE: You mean if we listen to you. What planet are you on REDSTAR - Would you like to ask some Leeds fans how fantastic Risdale is????
Look.. I have spoken to Mr Ridsdale about his time at Oakwell and he has made some very good points to me about it. There is no doubting that he made mistakes at Leeds, but was blamed heavily even though he was part of a board. I have tried to put forward a case that tries to state that Mr Ridsdale was not as bad is made out during his time at Oakwell. I never mentioned his time at Leeds and personally I think he was foolish with some of the things he did whilst there. If that puts me on a different planet then so be it.
RE: I didn`t know... you were rubbing shoulders with him, you little name dropper you! or are you just writing his autobiography "money is like sand".
