I’ll be honest at times I’ve wondered what Ritzmaier brings to the team but tonight a thought he was brilliant, chased every ball down and looked to get forward at the first instance!! Brentford didn’t know how to handle one player of ours tonight!
Don't even suggest it. The one reason I didn't want us to stay up this season is that the owners would claim that it proved how successful their transfer window turned out to be.
Course I wanted us to stay up. I thought - and still think - that the only negative aspect of our survival would be that it could be pushed as a successful implementation of "the plan". I don't want that. The club still needs to accept that they made mistakes last summer, and not do it again. If we'd gone down then there would have been no argument; now we've stayed up I'm worried they'll say that it worked this year so why not try it again.
A really don’t think they’ll claim a victory one bit, we’ve rowed our luck but we’ve stopped up on merit and defied the odds against teams who have broken the rules AGAIN, we’ve got to really kick on next season and back GS
I'm pretty confident we wouldn't have stayed up if we hadn't brought in an experienced centre half. But it wasn't Sollbauer's performances that kept us up, it was the influence he's had on the rest of the team, particularly the defence and crucially on Andersen.
