official statement on website saying they want witness for coin throwing from the crowd and they will pass CCTV footage onto the police. Why the fook dont they send them the footage of Morgan intentionally fracturing Humes Skull?

Fookin idiots - I love BFC to bit but behind the scenes they are fecking useless. Que the backlash of the do gooders who say they cannot make everyone happy at the same time but fook me they are brain dead.

Don't you think they might be viewing the footage?

Something like what happened with Hume and Morgan has to be carefully considered.

    You can't go off half-cocked.

Simon Davey stated in several interviews after the game that he will be sitting down and looking at the Morgan incident on TV. I guess they need to speak to Hume first to see what his views are and also if he is willing to take it any further.
Maybe the clubs attention at the moment is the health of Hume.

I think they could at least get something on about his injury even if it's a 'more later' statement

    Good Shout

None of us knows exactly how Hume is feeling and first thoughts need to be with him. At the very least it's going to be some time before he can (or even wants to) go over the incident again.

The club is trying to put it's own house in order on the other matter, rightly.

They may be a little concerned as well that as an employer they sent him home without deeming it necessary for a hospital check up.

Different people are in charge of different things. The safety officer may have decided on this statement, and if the FA get involved this can be seen as an early sign to resolve the issue.
The Morgan thing is different. Fair enough they can release a brief statement to say he is in hospital, etc but they maybe gathering all evidence to progree further

All I am saying is it wouldn't hurt

to post a simple statement along the lines that Hume is recieving treatment and in our thoughts - hardly rocket science is it.

    What a load of rubbish!

Are you unhappy because the club are passing on the CCTV footage because I really don't see how the two are related? How do you know what is happening with regards to Hume's injury and the club's response? Why does there need to be a rush in putting out a statement? I would hope the club are more worried about the condition of Ian Hume than retribution.

    forget it pal

Im clearly wasting my time, find a brain and come back and see me.

For the record my point was they have'nt even acknowledged that Hume is out cold in hospital with his head caved in, instead they want to catch somone that threw an empty bottle into the back of the net.

Yes these mindless nobs need dealing with, but the timeing of this statement is ludicrous.

    Give It Time Cud Lad

Whoever threw stuff from the Ponty end want catching and so it's good to see that statement released. The Hume situation is way more serious, so i'd imagine would take longer to deal with.
