Got a season ticket application pack in the post today. Included was a DVD with graphics to the effect: "Look what you've been missing!" It then goes into highlights of the second half of the home match against Hull City, featuring.............. Butterfield, Drinkwater, Vaz Te! Although I've not had a ST this year, I believe I'm not the only one who's been missing those three since January! Not sure what else it shows because it wasn't searchable, but I found those clips just a little ironic.
I've not had one of these - hope it's waiting for me when I get home. Sounds like a waste of money though.
Yeah maybe they should just erase the first half of the season from history; seriously you would find a negative in the club if they gave you a million quid. They are trying to bring back some of the lost fans but they may as well pi55 in the wind.
Well if the two halves of the season were reversed, and we'd just signed JB, DD and RVT then I might agree with you. But as it stands, I can't see how you can say they are trying?
To be honest tho orsenkaht 9 times put of 10 your post are of a negative nature, yes I would love us to be flying high in the league or be in a position where we can sign top quality players but unfortunately it ain't going to happen, has for the DVD I can't honestly see what the club have done wrong, do you honestly think they would erase every game that vaz te butterballs & drinkwater have played in, look on the positive side we are all but safe for another season at least and yes we are swimming against the tide with regards the financial clout that other clubs have got BUT we are still ere, I just look at the Bradfords & Stockports of this world and realise how lucky we are, I'm sure they would love to be receiving a of their current season in the championship, so come on fella look on the bright side now and again I promise you won't turn to stone lol! (big smiley face thingy)
Look, I can't deny that safety - and I'm sure we are safe - is some achievement by Hill given the circumstances. But I can't help wondering what would have happened had we not been forced to offload our three stars. Still - Championship football for another year. Pikey Rovers would be glad of it! There - I've tried!!!
