We've built a prediction league that we are just making the finishing touches to. Now the question is how would people feel about playing for money this year? The idea would be to stick in say five or ten quid for the privilege of entry (via paypal) For each league and cup game you will be asked to predict the score and first Barnsley scorer for each game. The scoring system is a follows: 3 points for the correct score 2 points for the correct result (i.e. you get the win, lose or draw correct) 1 bonus point for predicting the first Barnsley goal scorer (if applicable) Cash prizes will be awarded at the end of the season for the top 3 or 4 in the league. In addition, the highest scorer each month will be awarded the title "Punter of The Month" and will also win a prize (probably BFC related - signed shirt etc) Profits from the competition will go towards the supporters trust. What do you think?
Sounds good, though I'm consigned to losing already after my dismal performance in the Oakwell 1575AM + Rob +DC prediction league last year! Don't let DC (Dave Cooper) enter
How would it work if someone was away on holiday for a couple of weeks? Or would we be able to put in predictions several games in advance?
RE: How would it work if someone was away on holiday for a couple of weeks? You can put as many predictions as you want at a time. The whole season worth in one go if you want.
I'll give it a go..... What if I forget to make a prediction, due to my rampant senility? Does my prediction for the previous game stand until I change it?
My thoughts: Hot man juice running down the breasts of a hungry brunette. Just thought I'd share that. Cheers, Stevey T.
