BFC right now matter not a lot to me

I have lost a fantastic influence in my life... David Bowie...


I apologise to each and everyone of you if it seems I have put up another post about Bowie... but this guy had more influence over me than many other artists ... the only other two would be Zeppelin and The Stones... I heard the news this morning in work at 08:30... I actually dropped my coffee cup... it hit me that hard. I first saw this national treasure in Sheffield City hall in 1972 when he was arguably his best character "Ziggy Stardust" saw him live later on his "Serious Moonlight" tour and lastly on his " Glass Spider" tour... This guy was genious... not just a musician but a good actor both in film and on stge... his portrayal as the "Elephant Man" was mind blowing.

The world has lost a totally incredible artist... Britain has lost a true national treasure.


my heart is broken today

 

Mine too man. Huge loss - nothing else has mattered today.

 

Played a huge part of my youth in a positive way.
