Barnsley FC are pleased to confirm a 15-game flexi-ticket which can be used for the home league fixtures in the 2025/26 season. Listening to feedback from supporters via our Fan Advisory Board, the flexi ticket gives you the option to commit to the club next season but gives the flexibility to select the fixtures you wish to attend. Supporters buying a flexi-ticket will save money against buying tickets in advance and can claim their tickets up to the matchday of their chosen fixture, subject to availability. At those average prices, people might as well not buy one and pick and choose at the time, depending on things like kick off time.
Yeah, it's a marvellous idea. But like you say, unless match tickets are going north of £30, it's confusing. And even then, for an extra £50 you may as well get the full shebang. Could be the ploy all along. Not expecting much of an uptake which is a shame as the flexi option itself is always welcome. We used to five and ten-game versions a few years ago.
If I’ve counted correctly by the end of the season we will have played 12 home league games with a 3pm KO on Saturday. There was also a 12:30 and 19:45 Saturday home ko but they aren’t so convenient I’d have hoped for a better price differential
Might do it for next season just to see, but this season I wished I'd kept track of what cost would have been to see all 23 home games this season legally without a season ticket. So any game that's been available on Sky Sports Plus put down as free as it's part of a TV subscription you already have. We've had about half a dozen game offers to get in cheaper so add them up. Any other game pick the cheapest available adult ticket. I doubt the cost would be that different.
