[BFC SITE] Barnsley FC Women gear up for 24/25 campaign

    Barnsley FC Women’s fixtures for their inaugural FA Women’s Football League season have now been released.

    Following a 4-0 victory for Jess Horsley's side in their final pre-season fixture against Mansfield Town, the Reds now look ahead to the start of the new season following back-to-back promotions.

    The Reds will open their 2024/25 campaign against AFC Fylde Women on Sunday 18th August, before travelling to the North East a week later for a visit to Durham Cestria.

    We go on the road for three Yorkshire derbies in September, taking on Doncaster Rovers Belles on Sunday 8th, York City on Sunday 22nd, and closing out the month with a midweek trip to Huddersfield Town on Thursday 26th September. A further trip to West Yorkshire also beckons a month later, as we take on Leeds on Sunday 27th October.

    Barnsley FC Women close out 2024 on the Oakwell AstroTurf against Durham Cestria on Sunday 15th December, before a three-week season break. After this, the Reds welcome Doncaster, Huddersfield, York and Leeds to Oakwell in succession, before closing the season at home against Middlesbrough on Sunday April 27th.
