Barnsley FC can confirm that Gabriel Slonina has returned to Chelsea to continue his rehabilitation following an injury, bringing his loan spell at Oakwell to an early conclusion. The young goalkeeper joined the Reds and delivered memorable performances, including the penalty shootout victory against Wigan Athletic in the EFL Cup on his debut and his man-of-the-match performance against Lincoln City, where his reflex saves helped the Reds earn all three points on the road.
