    We are delighted to announce that Marc Roberts has been voted the November Player of the Month, an accolade sponsored by Copier Systems.

    The commanding defender was a standout performer throughout the month, earning the admiration of fans with his displays at the heart of the Reds' backline.

    Roberts, a cornerstone of Barnsley's defensive unit, played a pivotal role in securing crucial results during November. His leadership, aerial dominance, and crucial interventions have made him an indispensable figure in the squad, helping the team maintain their competitive edge.

    The award, decided by a fan vote, highlights the appreciation and support Marc has garnered from the Oakwell faithful. Supporters praised his consistency, resilience, and ability to marshal the defence under pressure.

    Sponsored by Copier Systems, the monthly award celebrates excellence on the pitch and gives fans the opportunity to recognise their favourite performers. A representative from Copier Systems presented Marc with his trophy at Oakwell earlier today, and he was all smiles as he accepted the recognition.

    Barnsley FC would like to congratulate Marc on his well-deserved achievement and thank all the fans who took the time to vote. Let’s continue to show our support as the team pushes on into the busy festive period!

    Player of the season so far in the games I've seen. Started a bit shaky but quickly got into his stride and he still looks a quality defender. We'll miss his presence.
