Remember when this looked a great opportunity for a bank holiday weekend in London, taking in a game on our play off push... Now it's £71 quid for a coach n match ticket for a game with zilch riding on it. Might as well wait until we play there next season, hopefully in better circumstances.
It's time the EFL took a leaf out of the PL's policy. And discussed a maximum price for away fans. They've bitten the hand that feeds em. (The fans) and sold out to Sky. And not considering the implications they have put on those fans. Days times etc being changed with no consideration.
We've had train tickets a while now so bought tickets today for match. A bit steep at £30, bit of a 5hit hole in away end.
It was £24 last season and it wasn't a particularly enjoyable experience despite Herbie's strike. The 'concourse' is tiny and not big enough for the amount of away fans especially those of a zealous nature. Plus, I had the pleasure of seeing a fully grown man - I refuse to use the word adult - reduce a girl behind me to tears because he wouldn't sit down. He spent 90% of the match standing up and looking at his phone.
I'd be shocked if we sold out. Expensive to get there, expensive ticket pricing, Londons expensive and on top of all that nothing to play for.
Not so sure, A. We are struggling getting anywhere near to fill a bus. Filled 2 last season. Another reason may be we are doing a long weekend 56 of us Fri-mon. For Reading game. How many will opt to go to the game in present circumstances is anyone's guess.
Bought train tickets a while ago about £40/ticket, I have little interest in going so will either look for a refund or flog them if anyone wants them
Can’t see it. It sold out last season because it was a new ground for many. I know quite a few away regulars that aren’t bothering. Reading will be my next game. My son hasn’t been.
