We are excited to announce the nominations for Barnsley FC’s Copier Systems Goal of the Month award for September. Now, it's over to you – our loyal supporters – to decide which goal deserves the honour of being crowned September's Copier Systems Goal of the Month. Here are the nominees: September Goal of the Month Nominees: Davis Keillor-Dunn vs Bristol Rovers On his Reds debut, the forward received the ball via a delicious backheel by Luca Connell, cut inside and stroked the ball into the far corner to give the Reds the lead against the Gas. Adam Phillips vs Bristol Rovers Last month's double-winner scored the winning goal in the same game against the Gas, heading home emphatically in front of the 'Ponty End' after connecting with Barry Cotter's pinpoint cross from the right. Luca Connell vs Burton Albion From 25-yards out, our skipper hit a free-kick hard and low which arrowed into the bottom corner and opened the scoring for the Reds against the Brewers at the Pirelli Stadium. Stephen Humphrys vs Burton Albion With the scores level in the dying minutes in Burton, substitute Humphrys rose highest to head home Corey O'Keeffe's teasing delivery and score his first goal for the Reds. The header wrapped up all three points for the Reds on the road. Adam Phillips vs Stockport County In front of the Sky cameras, Davis Keillor-Dunn picked up the ball and was hacked down in the area, resulting in a chance for Adam Phillips from 12-yards. He made no mistake from the spot-kick, rolling home for an early lead. I prefer watching a montage of the goals to help me make my decision, rather than trying to visualize it from a description.
Personally, what helps me decide is an excessively sized banner with the sponsors name on at the start of a newsbot post ;-)
That photocopy of the team sheet for the Bristol Rovers match was my favourite. I may have got confused but there's a lot of text.
