DESPITE comments in The Sun newspaper today, the only offer that the Club have received for goalkeeper Scott Flinders was rejected in writing on Monday.

Since that time no further bid has been received from anyone.

The report in today's Sun is completely untrue. Scott Flinders has not signed for anyone and remains a Barnsley FC player.

    Or

It'll be Palarse trying to unsettle Flinders alledgedly.

    Yep.

given that BFC are on record as saying they won't stand in his way if it's in the best interests of his career, and presumambly someone pays the right price.

No way will he want to be understudy to Colgan again this season.

    RE: Yep.

Most clean sheets in a generation again and he'll have to wear it.

    Not doubting that...

just that if Flinders is going to be what people reckon, he needs to play football, otherwise he will never progress.

I do think that if he leaves, he will miss his mentor; John Lukic
