Plasma is dead...Sony and the like have ceased manufacture, hence the decrease in price. LCD is the way to go. Too many issues with Plasma, Sony have lost millions.

Not much dearer. Avoid Plasmas. Lad works for a TV repair firm...he told me 4 months ago about this. Severe heating probs with Plasmas, and up to 1KW of electric used when on. More trouble than they are worth, but companies are keeping it quiet and selling them off at low prices.

Spot how many NEW Plasmas are being manufactured. You'll find all the latest models are LCD.

 

Is that High Definition ? What's that then ? Christ there's a lot to consider.

Yep High Definition is the next big thing - Sky are launching it over here next year.
