After thinking about the game yesterday its time for the players to stand up and be counted.I know Davey ultimately takes the blame but these players once on the pitch have to take more responsablity. From now until the end of the season we have to show the mentality we showed at Hillsborough not too many weeks ago.I'm not two sure about playing 442 at the moment. Its a great formation when a team is playing with confidence and on the top of there game but at this time we need to make ourselves strong, organized and play with a siege mentallity a "thow shall not pass"attitude. As for Mr Davey being neither for or against him I think I'll leave that one to PC but I find it annoying to see words like hate and despise and other stronger comments .At the end of the day hes our manager not a murderer or a rapist and I'm sure Mr Cryne will do whats required when he sees fit.By the way I think Charlton,Southampton and Forest will go down.
I hope you're right BMW, but we need FOUR wins to reach safety. Looking at the remaining fixtures, I cannot for the life in me see where they are going to come from?
four wins ? win against palace, point at derby, beat forest, point at coventry, point against swansea, point at watford and beat plymouth
Points from: Palace (win) Forest (win) Skullcrushers (draw - venom and bitterness will carry us to a point.) Wolves (win - because Wolves always bottle it when the going gets tough.) Plymouth (win - against de-motivated opponents who've already done enough to ensure their own survival.) Hmmmm. Doesn't seem such a tall order when I am feeling positive!
Palace strong up front with a pacy winger. Wolves, Good strike Force. Blunts big strong mobile strike force.... Barnsley cannot defend....
Wolves are bringing at least 7000 supporters to probably win the league against us. Every year we lose at home when we give teams the west as well as the north it will be no different against them
I can't believe people fancy us to win on Tuesday. Warnock's a shrewd operator like him or not and he's always up for games against Barnsley. They're coming off the back of an excellent win at Swansea while we are just in total free fall. It'll be the usual negative play not to get beaten "tactics" which will result in the usual 1-0 defeat.
I am hoping Wolves have got it won the game before they play us, home to QPR. Maybe Mick will do us a favour if they have got it in the bag, senior players on a rest. Or they could just be on their holidays mentally.
I agree, I think they could have nothing to play for by then. I expect their play-off push to fall away in the next few weeks.
Watford, Swansea, Coventry, Wolves and Plymouth could all be playing for nothing by the time we play them. I hope it works to our advantage. They could all be desperate for 3 points too.
