Add in the fact that there's no guarantee they'll actually pay up. Not even worth considering. Club should be issuing Bury like 'insulting' claims at the very least. C'mon Gord, get 'em teld.
Disgraceful Sorry Nardiello fans but Hayes is the best finisher at the club. Forget his goals per game and look at the role that hes asked to play week in week out which means hes hardly ever in front of goal. If McIndoe went for £250k then Hayes should not be far behind him in valuation. If Hayes is put in on goal then he will score goals a plenty.
Even if Hayes gets mardy and ends up on the bench..... We should tell em to get bent unless they stump up £200k</p>
I'd seriously do that. For every offer they make for Hayes - I'd send them one for Eastwood ... starting at therteh six pence, obviously. Although I don't like the man - I have to say that Dave Allen has done a decent job with Bougherra. "Give me £3m - or get fecked right off". I like that. In fact - I'd word the fax as below: TO: Southend Manager, Frank Tilson FROM: Barnsley Manager, Clipboard Colin SUBJECT: Offer for that Fredrick Easton Dear Frank, I see you want this Desmond Haynes who plays for us. Well - you can have him if we can have Fredrick Easton in return. We'll even give you some cash on top - namely - a lump sum of therteh six pence, followed by therteh six pence if we stay up & a further therteh six pence if we stay in the Champions League next year. I'll even let you have a sell on clause - therteh six percent. If you accept - I'll scramble my Blackpool Tower jets straightawaynow. Yours in sport, Gord, oops - no ... Clipboard Colin.
McIndoes market value , in my opinion - 750k Hayes 300k -350k we should tell them to get fooked off unless they even come close to that as posts above say - we should take the Dave Allen approach - stump up his valuation or piss right off. eastwood bid for 300k sounds like a good idea the pillocks
Do you really think Hayes is worth £350k If we spent that much on a striker and all we got was Paul Hayes I'd be well pissed off.
well, maybe thats a tad over optimistic but if we paid 150k for him when he was in the third division and he is now a championship player then surely we should be looking to get more than our money back? i think he's a very good player, creates a hell of a lot of chances - just not an out and out striker. i'd have him in "the hole" . oh aye.
Lets See How They Like It........ be doing a formal bid to sign Eastwood in a straight swap for Wroe. When that gets turned down we keep adding people like Mcparland, Healy etc until they get pissed off and know how we feel.
