BARNSLEY striker Daniel Nardiello will miss Saturday's clash with Colchester United after picking up his fifth caution of the season.

The former Manchester United starlet was booked for timewasting late in last weekend's victory at Tranmere. It was his fifth booking of the campaign and he will now automatically serve a one-game ban.

The suspension will rule him out of Saturday's top-of-the-table clash with Colchester United at Oakwell (February 25, 2006). Daniel was also cautioned against Doncaster (February 11); Oldham (October 1); Gillingham (September 13) and Swansea (August 29).

    More soon.

Was a silly booking from Nads on Saturday, so with just Hayes and Wright to start and Richards and Nads banned, will Barry be on the bench as Jarman is still at Bury? McParland will come in I guess on the bench, and Disco may be pushed up front if he comes on!?

pub laiker. FACT. I'd rather play one up front than see him wear a Reds shirt again.

    who?? Conlon or Nardiello??

Our good run started precisely when Conlon was dropped and Richards became a regular starter-Conlon will just fade away at the end of the season-that's if his knee holds up

    RE: Nardiello..

If he had, there'd have been far more pressure exerted on our midfield and back 4 than there was. Ritchie got his team selection bang on Saturday. Defend from the front.

    Agreed

Also hopefully Richie will now realise that Hassell is the best centre half at the club, well imho anyway.

Burns was immense again imho, as usual.

    RE: Agreed

Cos Hassell reads the game so well from centre half, he rarely gets beaten in the air, even against taller players. On the ground nowt gets past him. It'd be him + a.n.other from here on in if it were down to me.

Jacob Burns makes our midfield tick. End of story.

Have to put Kay in as the other one, he's barely put a foot wrong all season whilst playing in defence. Reid on the bench, wave goodbye to Carbon.

Tha' talks like a lovely person.

Conlon is the worst BFC striker since Dave Regis, in fact, they are on a par!

Gave Conlon a break, he has scored a few goals and always tried for his club. Loads of people was really having a go at Richards and look how he has done!! I would rather have Conlon on the bench than no forward, he gives that option late on of a big target man up front!!

    COME ON BARRY!!
