Big Bazza Conlon up front for second leg

Just promoting a bit of debate but we were sadly lacking in aerial ability last night. Big Bazza is as good as anyone on the books in the air and he'd be ideal to pick up Booth or McIntosh at corners, free-kicks. Take that out of their game and they ain't got that much else. Also, the last time Bazza played at Huddersfield, he had a blinder - they couldn't cope with his strength on the ball. Got to be a better bet than Richards or Wright.

Got to agree robespierre, but most guys on here have very short memories

Before he was injured he was much much better than Richards and Wright
Ritchie said yesterday that Conlon was back to full fitness and looking sharp
We need someone up front to make something happen
I think Hudders would struggle against Bazzer, especially if he had Devaney and Hayes either side of him

    Totally Agree....

If Booth had been on our side last night, I reckon we would have scored at least 2 goals - we had some pretty decent corners and crosses, but just no-one on the end of em. Richards is good at holding the ball up, but when it comes to corners, I reckon Conlon should get the nod.

Put him on the bench, then give a run out for last half hour or so - let's not forget either, that he needs a new contract for next season, so he will want to put himself in the shop window being on Sky and all...................

    eh!

Yer man implied that Richards could hold the ball. To which I responded that Richards has no ball control and thus can't hold ball up.

    BBB just can't move.

Odd interpretation of what you saw with your own eyes (I presume) yesterday. The Udders have not posed much threat at corners or set pieces all season and apart from the Tosh header near the end, all our many gilt edged chances came from open play. If you are wanting to negate that threat then we will be delighted to cope with a donkey who is not match fit

Were you watching the first half?

You lot had about 5 goal mouth scrambles from free-kicks and corners.

You hit the post with your only open play move in the 1st half.
