First piss of the day - a 2 minuter, as is my norm, 8:30 am. Then, half a pint of water and half a pint of orange juice with breakfast. Out for a walk then a pint of water on my return. Off to the open gardens in Cawthorne: half a litre of bottled water with a sandwich at the church, a large Pimms, a Bucks Fizz, a cup of tea with a cream cake (It's Cawthorne, it's posh, you take what you can get) then three pints of lager at the Spencers. Second piss of the day, 7:30 pm, lasted an eon. Beat that you *******. I've got no skills of any use whatsoever, but I can piss for England. Just as an aside: Taxi from our house to Cawthorne: £7. Bus from Cawthorne to Barnsley for two of us: £4.40. Bus from Barnsley to Ward Green for 2: £3. Total: £7.40. So it's cheaper to get a taxi than a bus. Taxi journey: 12 minutes. Bus journey: just over an hour including changes. There's summat seriously ****** up there.
We were in France a couple of weeks ago, €1 for an hour bus ride to Nice airport from where we were staying. £2 nowadays to go about a mile in this country.
Dirk always called you fat, I assumed it was due to food intake rather than water retention which is obviously the case. Secondly, you have admitted to drinking Pimms and I want to know why the BBS has not imploded in a working class stylee.
Just had a look on stagecoach's website for prices and found that they do a variety of day rider passes. I live in Barnsley and I have to say I haven't a clue which of the stupidly complicated passes would be best for me to buy. They do the Barnsley day rider which is valid on about 19 different buses, the dayrider plus which is valid on a few more for their entire route and then a few more for only part of it for some reason, the dearne valley dayrider which is allowed on a few routes but not the ones from the Barnsley day rider, the explorer which is valid on most buses I think, the magic dayrider which seems to be magic in that it turns into a steaming pile of ***** if you dare to get on anything other than the number 22. Oh and the passes only work if the bus happens to be operated by stagecoach Barnsley, if you use the stagecoach Manchester or hull buses out of Barnsley then they're useless. I also took a look to see how about my daily commute. In a car: 10-15 minutes at a petrol cost of £1.50 On public transport: 1 hour 45 minutes, costing £9 each way and involving catching a bus, then a train, then two busses. Around 2 hours a week to and from work and £15 in petrol or 17 and half hours a week and £90 for the privilage. On the plus side in the next 30 years I'll be able to get to London in just over an hour at a cost of £42billion (thats £1400 out of the pocket of every income tax payer) because that's what we need, people able to get from Rotherham to London quicker than they can get to Barnsley. That'll help the local economy no end.
Crikey. A light hearted thread on Jay's pissing schedule while openly admitting he drinks Pimms and you manage to churn this out?
