Expect to see players in next week I reckon! Turnbull will have been on a good wedge, and I'd rather have Davies in goal so no drama with that one. Craine & Jennings have now gone, two big earners, Milan gone who was bang average after one or 2 good games. Bailey might go and will be on a few k, I would have rather kept Berry as he was a decent young squad player who won't have been on that much.

So with all this cash freed up, I think we will start to see some movement in now, no need to panic! Even more so if any of Stones (sell on fee) Holgate and Digby was to leave. We should be able to sign strikers and wingers now as well! Would love to see Pearson and O'Sullivan back, and if it means waiting till the start or even the end of August to sign them out right or even on loan then so be it!!

There's a quote from The Wire " you don't get more with less you get less with less". Players on decent money got shut of to 'free up wages' replaced by players with the ability to attract lesser wages (generally as they are poorer players) can be a downward spiral as teams like Grimsby and Portsmouth found out.

If you add to this getting rid of players you had brought in to develop such as Berry. Chuck in giving your best young players away for pretty much nowt and you create a heady cocktail.

Of the players left plenty have potential. Davies may or may not turn out to be a great keeper. After about an equal number of games Scott Flinders looked great.

There's is still time to turn things round bring in some good players and move forwards. There's also the possibility that we might be left with the dregs. Still we find ourselves a coup,e of weeks away with kick off trying to recruit 10/12 players yet again.

Agree. I think we got shut of a lot of 'averageness'. Only good tho if we replace it with better.

We can't win as a club if we had of got players in early before getting rid of any some fans would have moaned about the wage bill and having to many players or do it the way we have and people are panicking and moaning were leaving it to late...

We've got to realise under the financial rules of this division players have to move on before we can bring people in.... The players we have brought in all look pretty good to me so far and we do need to add to it of course but there's plenty of time yet and were no further behind than a lot of clubs up and down the country.

I've got faith that we are bringing in the right sort of players and there will be more to come over the next couple of weeks now people have moved on and Johnson's hands aren't tied as much over wages.

We should be used to this by now.....

There is clearly a plan - unfortunately we don't know what it is!
