Let the missus move into our first house together on her own and go to the match. Or Help her and nip out for "stuff" at five to 3 and get barnsley player on at my local....... Either way I'll be in bother so I'm edging towards option 1.
I think I may need to start the ball rolling tomorrow with a limp and see where I go from that, maybe it could develop into a bad back or something as the week goes on and she will put moving in off while Monday and I can miraculously recover Saturday lunch time once she's gone out shopping for paint or something.
It's to late for that I've paid the down payment on the mortgage and can't take the hassle for the next 20 years every time we have a disagreement and she brings it up again.... It's going to have to be a covert operation!!!
A woman's perspective - don't be such a c0ck. Move in with her, and put player on whilst you move your stuff in (if she's a keeper she can't begrudge you that). Can't believe you're planning on lying to her on the very first day of moving in, about football of all things. Failing that, just tell her you're going, that it will be a regular thing and she'll have to get used to it. Then she either surprises you by agreeing, or you have to decide whether to piss her off/don't go. Maybe invite her along? She might not like football and want to go, so you get to be alone/with mates anyway, or if she agrees then at least she won't be pissed off and thinking you chose football over her.
If your moving in with a bird and you've not got full control of you own life and everything that happens in it, then you've fail in your courtship, enjoy the rest of your life living under her thumb
Just been and got tickets she just assumed I was going so isn't bothered and already has plans to paint with her mum so I'm surplus to requirements until Sunday when I'm needed for heavy lifting. I've got a season ticket and go to most away games so she hasn't got a problem with me going I just thought it was a bit much when were moving in together the same day but she's already made plans around me going. She's a keeper I think and probably glad to get rid of me once a week......
