Would this work??? All members on the board pay £X of money for a giant flag from someone like footballgreats.co.uk and hand it to the club for someone to hand it over before the game and then collect it after? I know you aint actually getting the flag personally but if 1000 people put a quid in can you imagine the size of the flag we could get?? Might make the place look more atmostheric (is that a word) Just an idea mind? I stand to be be shot down lol
if people could organise this for the east stand and ponty this could be good along with a decent pre match song could get the goosebumps going again Anyone from the supporters club on here could make this happen?
Brilliant idea that I've got to say, also it might entice folk such as me ''part timers'' to venture more to Games what with a tad more atmosphere?....I'd be up for chipping in....
Good song is the one they play at wembley - carnival de paris by dario G Ever since wembley i've loved this song. Great for the players to run out to.
A big flag, give it a rest for f sake, having flags at big occasions is all well and good . But to put a massive flag in the ponte -end and most of the pundits would be moaning. The flag is to big, save it for Wembley, or when we reach the play-offs.
look at the clubs where such a thing happens it breeds atmosphere and as cryne says he wants atmosphere so why not try something like this as i rememeber the old one going around before kickoff and then it was collected and wrapped up just an idea mind so if not an option forget it!
Good idea I think which is bizarre since it cam from you. Nevertheless I'd contribute if site admin collected the dosh. Any idea how much they are?
i could speak to football greats and see how big they could get one made i am thinking BIG! .. Is there anyone from the supporters club that use the site?
heres a supplier http://www.footballbanners.co.uk/ I was thinking a 10mx10m with the town crest or summat
its an option but i think we should (if it ever takes off) contact local company footballgreats first to see if they could do anything?
I printed a big one for Wembley.....
....the origional flag had cost them £600. Sounds a bit steep to me.
