    I have never seen National Lampoons' Animal House.

    Yet the existence of the thread fills me with blind rage, and I keep clicking into it to see what new things have been said about it.

    TBF mate. It’s there every day. Pretty obvious what the new posts are. I’ve Not looked at the thread since day one. The figures are on the screen (tv) 24/7. Pay no attention to it. If you get depressed at seeing it. I know you can block someone’s posts. Can you not do the same with a single thread. ? Doubt it but worth a try. (Admin is this possible)

    Admins are also allowed an opinion and the ability to post it aren't they?
    He could actually see an obvious point in deleting your posts, but chooses not to in the spirit of free speech, and then we all have the choice of scrolling past your posts if we have no interest in reading it

    Biggest problem is with that mate. I guess if they delete it. Someone else will create a new thread. To discuss today’s results. I deliberately give the thread a miss for the reason it’s on tv 24/7. So I’ve had my fill by then so to speak. Without discussing the figures on here.

    You are right I cant see the Obvious point in deleting it - its not obvious to me. At the time I originally posted it 2 weeks ago I thought it was worth making the post - the fact that 2 weeks and 19 pages later people are still adding to it and mostly staying on topic to me makes it obvious why it should not be deleted. If you aren't interested in it don't read it -its not as if you cant guess what the new posts are likely to be about.
    I dont think you can set the board to ignore an individual thread but you can unwatch it and you can ignore it yourself by not clicking on it.
