Surely the board should pull out all the stops to get the game shown at Oakwell. They have clearly cocked up whether meant or otherwise. They could just allow those people in with the special match voucher E remaining in their book that they let down in the first place

Is there really a demand for this?

I'm not bothered about watching a big telly sat in freezing cold.

    Course there would be

Seeing it is much better than listening to a commentary.

I can't imagine why the club would think that there is...

... bearing in mind they didn't think anyone would want to go to the actual game.

    Maybe it's just me

I would watch the game in (say) Walkabout, but watching it down at Oakwell in the freezing cold doesn't appeal to me. Presumably, BFC would charge for the priviledge too....

    not really

we get 10,000 home fans for a game roughly. 6,000 are going to the game. So at most that would leave 4000 to watch on a TV. No way would we get over 1000. When you take into account thats its just a TV, its cold, spme people are pissed off with the club.

Would have to pay for a big screen, screening rights, security, etc etc complete waste of money

    RE: not really

but it's not 6000 out of the 10000 that will be at Anfield, more like 4000 at Anfield.

You really believe there are 2000 fans going to Anfield who havent been to a game all season??

wake up. We dont have that much support.

I would hazzard a guess that most of those 6000 have been to 10+ games this season. Obviously I am guessing like you but i would back that hunch
