The club are hoping to show the liverpool game live at Oakwell via big screen subject to FA approvals etc
good idea but................. how many people who haven't got tickets who wanted to go just cos its at Liverpool would go to watch it probably 20% at the most. lets face it its only cos its at Anfield that people wanna go. If it had been, say Birmingham, i doubt there would be this much of a fuss
i agree. But this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity due to their new stadium plans. and let's face it, what are the chances of getting to the 5th round so easily? we'll get some nob head side like cardiff away in the 3rd Also, would they have more than one screen? or will it be one facing a stand? still got plymouth to look forward to. and the fact i haven't got college the next day.
the "big screen" nt will probably just be all of those little ones knocking around in the back of the stand :'(
People are more interested in moaning... ...than actually doing anything to get to see the game. Shows how committed they were to getting off their arses in time to get a ticket.
RE: Did they say whether it would be free as an apology or just another way to get money? nt Cost etc still to be decided but Im pretty sure it isnt a money making execrcise. There may be a nominal charge to cover cost of hiring the kit etc. As I said this is subject to approval from FA and I think Liverpool. (And maybe the BBBC?) but the club have been working on this today (together with a couple of trust comittee members).
Someone at the club has been working today?
While the rest of em sat on their arses drinking tea and clapping themselves on the back cos they'd no more mug punters to serve.
I'm not bitter

one season ticket, one ticket... ... why should people have to queue for hours ? If there's roughly the same number of tickets to ST then no panic as everyone knows that they are nailed on to get one... this leads to a more even flow through the box office, save for the people who will queue irrespective of whether there is any immediate urgency.
Season tickets give priority for a ticket for big games, not for a ticket for Uncle Norman who hasn't been since Cardiff.
Bitter ? yes, but not for myself as I was never going, its for other season ticket holders who have to work for a living and haven't got an elderly relative to stand in the perishing cold for hours at a time.

Be a nice gesture after the ticket fiasco.
Afterall, it's cheaper than coach travel to Southend on a Friday neet...
