"We have been funded by Patrick Cryne to the tune of about £5million, which has bought us some time to try and rectify the situation, so any extra revenue we can bring in has to be extremely beneficial.

    RE: Come clean JD

PC offered £2million, plus the transfer fee and wages for Ashley Ward, but was knocked back by Dennis and co.

Clearly, for that sort of investment, PC wanted something in return - a seat on the board - and that put JD off.

The rest, as they say, is history.

    I was told...

that PC wanted the entire club if the club could not repay the money in 12 months.

I don't claim this as fact like.

    During the administration process

It wasn't up to JD who the club was sold to.

    RE: During the administration process

I mean prior to administration - when we were facing relegation from what is now The Championship.

I believe that PC offered £2million and enough to fund Ashley Ward's transfer fee and wages - in return for a seat on the board.

Could be wrong. Memory might be playing tricks.
