First he needs to sign a striker, then beat Wednesday and three points on Saturday.

I'm hoping for a hat-trick, if not then its hard to see him survive but my opinion is he deserves backing until then.

Our league position at the moment is what we are a bottom half team, with our wage structure you neen gambles to come off to change that. Davey and Cryne are finding that signing a striker to take us to the next level is very difficult and expensive so we are gambling again.
If we sack Davey, Cryne is still in the same position that the Managers to take us to the next level are too expencive so we would be gambling again.

i agree with the gamble on striker but it seems to be a reoccuring theme that Simon has no tactical or man management skills he can have every coaching badge in the world but unless you know how to make them perform your in an uphill battle, face it Simon has had the cash and has signed his own players so its not my team isnt a get out clause, its his own fault we dont have the depth on the bench as in been able to swap to a 4-4-2 from 4-3-3 or from 5-4-1 to 4-4-2 we normaly have a bench of strikers and El Haimour which isnt any good if say Anderson crocks himself or even worse Muller as then we have the "Colchester Manouver", i think the most annoying thing is or for me is when he let Kim go, the games before we played wednesday at oakwell Wednesday had scouts watching us and they all were 100% mortified we would play Kim they said he was the gem of our striking department they were petified but no Kim asks simon why he wasnt getting a game and thats it we never saw him again, its all good and well saying we cant afford £8,000 wages for Mifsud but if Simon lacks the man management skills that he freezes Players out well he brings it all on himself, he has to relise he isnt Alex Ferguson we dont have the money to buy a player relises hes not as good as we thought then never see him again.

our lack of finances is not the reason that jamal campbell ryce is currently playing as a sweeper

or that kayode odejayi has played 72 games for barnsley football club. Neither are our lack of finances the reason that we have 4 senior right backs and not one left back or the reason that if we are losing a game with 20 minutes left simon davey makes the same 'tactical' change of putting three strikers up front. I simply refuse to believe that all of these things have happened because we cant afford the best players in the league.

if your refering to my post i said if you read he lacks the tactical and man managment qualitys a manager should have, that we dont have the players to change the formation so we have to stick players that are on the pitch into the new formation probably why JCR ends up as a sweeper some games

I was referring to ossettreds post but I still dont believe that JCR has to play sweeper because we have nobody else. That simply cannot be true. We have a reserve side, that means we have 16 reserve players, is simon davey saying that he has built an entire squad of first team and reserve players without including a back up player for that position? Well yes I think he may be as he doesnt have a back up left back, in fact he doesnt have a first choice one either, instead opting to play a right back in that position

Davey's Man Managment skills are is strong point, if it weren't he'd be sacked by now.

I do agree about tactics, and unfortunatly its the main skill of a manager and his coaches.

What a list, it take a strong manager to sort that lot out. Good job we have one.

Just like Davey can't live off a semi final, Nick Colgan had to move on when better players were coming in, Howard didn't have the heart for us any more and Kim who no's? If you could tell me we have a better manager lined up then fair enough but its not likley.

If we lose to the fowls I imagine that the atmosphere on Saturday, especially if we play anything like the last home game, will be hostile. Lose on Tuesday and PC has to do something to get the fans back on side. Davey has to go.
