To the following: Nick COLGAN- After a terrible season last year he has proved the quality keeper i knew he was. Neil AUSTIN- Great season, usual graft from Ozzy but i think hes played extra well this season in both full back positions Anthony KAY- Massively improved as a central defender. Started to do the simple things more regular and its worked. Bobby HASSELL- Shame about his injury limiting his appearances but i must say he has improved massively in my eyes this season. Nice also to see Steve McPhail showing some quality after all his injury problems Just to show that not all opinion on here is negative and any of the above would thoroughly deserve player of the year. Well done lads!
Mostly agree expect Austin, who has looked all at sea everytime he has been asked to play left back.
Also he looks better at Centre-half as he cant run.

Austin has impressed me. He has worked his backside off this eason and in the last few games he has done well and showed heart and desire.
also.. he has never moaned (publicly) when not in the side, and lets face it, has never been a regular really until this year, and it seems as though he's been with us for years... Hats of to the lad, always been their when needed...
i agree And you never hear of him being pissed on a friday night either do you. A true professional who I can see being a future captain.

Commitment, desire, leadership He isn't afraid to shout at the other players and tell them what to do and if they need inspiration then they only need to look at him to see the commitment.
Compare that with McPhail for example who last season often wore the captains armband yet showed no commitment and never once shouted instruction or encouragement to the rest of the players.
