Get 3 points and I can't see anyone stopping us

Would certainly give everyone a massive boost and would prove we can do it against the better teams in this division as well.

Its the litmus test on Setdi.

As posted before - I don't think we are ready yet for the top 6 but this match will indicate how far we are away from it.

I'm expecting us to lose - but I'll not be disappointed if we do because we are moving in the right direction. Danny has brought some good young players in this season. If Lee can get them firing as a team we will be set up for next season.
Where hopefully we will have success from the start of the season - which importantly will get the fans coming back to the WELL
I don't think the fans have started coming back yet because the success we are having now has only been a short lived thing

I'd take a point right now if offered.

We still have the youngest side in the division

I think this game is a lot to do with mindset. If our lads have swallowed the mantra that we are a "big team for this division" then I think Preston will take us down. If we adopt a "cheeky young lads" approach and get among 'em, we'll unsettle North End. (Think Alan Smith in his early days at Leeds, pestering the life out of the "giants" Adams and Keown).

The other angle might be Tommy Wright telling our lot "yoose come back in here we'out three points and ah'll make sure ye nae walk again!"

So, 7 points from the next 3 games against 3 of the top 5 clubs. Excellent.

Our record so far against those top 5 teams: Played 7 won 1, drawn 1, lost 5, points 4.

There's a fine line between being optimistic and setting yourself up for a fall.
