i was right about the attendence wasn't I all the more to appreciate me for I see Chris Taylor got in the team of the week Ref for not seeing the handball by the way. I don't really see a problem with the fans running on the pitch, nothing malicious in it. Fining the club would be ridiculous
RE: i was right about the attendence wasn't I Yeah Chris got great reports playing left back. But now he's back on the left wing he gets man of the match. Obviously he cannot take all the credit. But a lot of the form Oldham are on is down to him. Hopefully they will be playing us next season in the championship Chefy mate you did good on the attendance guess. Fans running on the pitch i think your being too soft on them. Everyone knows it's a criminal offence. And we got told last time if it happened again we would be fined.
Can I nominate.. the blokes in the East stand lower near the away end who were singing songs about the Leeds fans being stabbed in Turkey and thought they were hilarious, the brainless feckers.
RE: i was right about the attendence wasn't I Fans running on pitch - they know they shouldn't do it, so why do they do it, same goes for Devaney so they are equal momsts of stupidity.
One of those Leeds fans Brother of a lad I worked with at the time, the other lad had same surname as me and I was on holiday so people at work were wondering if he was related (which he wasn't)
RE: Can I nominate.. There are some nasty shits go in that part of the ground- but you will notice that most of them will turn up when they know there will be trouble. The racist abuse to players and threatening behaviour towards other supporters who challenge these half wits is sickening. After sitting at that end for about 5 years I have now moved away because it made match days unpleasant.
RE: i was right about the attendence wasn't I It'll be taken in context to the event. Local derby winning goal after being 2-1 down. Emotions etc.
Thought fans were booing the decision to take Richards off Didn't think they were booing him at all. Tommy Wright had been booked, was knackered and ineffective so everyone was expecting it to be him, leaving Richards and Nardiello upfront. Hence the booing, which turned to cheers as he walked off.
RE: Thought fans were booing the decision to take Richards off As one of those in the East stand booing at that point - I will say that the booing was directed at the choice of player to go off, i.e. Ritchie's decision, rather than at any player.
Still don't think anyone should boo... It's so easily misinterpreted. I thought it was the right decision - thought Wright had a good game...
My nomination... The bloke pissing in the sink in the East Stand bogs - when challenged about it he told the bloke to "F*ck off" before explaining "They're [the toilets] are all taken up"... Well get in the flipping queue then you numpty...
It was a brave decision Neither Wright nor Richards were particularly effective. Wright was on a booking and in a physical game like that, there was a risk he might get a second yellow. Richards has 5 goals this season to Wright's one. I think, retrospectively, it was a good call from Ritchie because Wright really came alive when Nads came on. So big up to the manager.
I thought Richards was poor... And I normally like the lad... Wright made a real nuisance of himself, he almost created a chance by chasing down the defender in the first-half and was involved in the first goal. I think him and Nardiello to start after the second-half performance - skill from Nads, graft from Wright...
Hmmm So he thinks the fact all the urinals are taken up means it's ok to p*ss in sink?! Not really much point washing your hands after is there if people are doing that!
RE: Hmmm Reckon he wasn't a regular - just turning up for the big game... I don't have a problem with "part-timers" but it really pisses me off when the testerone laden ones turn up for the sole purpose of abusing the away fans and show absolutely no respect for the club's facilities and the other fans. Why should I queue up? I'm an hard-Barsteward in a Stone Island jumper, general good manners don't apply to me...
RE: I thought Richards was poor... i agree with ketilbert, wright for headers flicked on for nardiellos runs
