    But it's a strange thing to say if it's not true.

    'Doing us a favour' is ballax, like it wasn't in Derby's interests at all either.

    To say that by loaning us two players kept us in this division is a bit rich.

    Yes they helped without a doubt but Billy Davis did not keep Barnsley Football Club in the Champoionship. Perhaps he shouldv'e been paying better attention to his own side, then he maybe wouldn't have been sacked!

    Plus i'm sure Derby also benefited from us loaning those 2 players.

    Firstly we helped Nyatanga develop as a player, secondly we took some pressure off their wage bill by taking Macken when he clearly wasn't wanted at Pride Park.

    "4 or 5 chances to win the game?" - I must have a short memory too then. "tried to help us out?" - no manager helps out anyone unless it helps his own club.

    The man is obviously defending himself

    and very angry. He should be angry with the Nottingham press who were obviously stirring things up for him and Simon Davey jumped on the bandwagon.
    Apart from Hume and Morgan being mates - which is obviously unlikely - he hasn't said anything wrong.
    We outplayed them at their place and lost because we didn't have anything up front. We didn't outplay them yesterday, a draw was a fair result in fact they may have edged it. He has organised them and turned things around and he will save them. I would rather have him than Davey!

    i wouldnt - hes a moaning idiot, if moaning at officials throughout a match is what you want for a manager you want fair play! Not for me though!

    Yeah He Wasn't Doing A Favour For Us

    A favour is doing something and not expecting anything in return. By loaning us Nyatanga and Macken they got something out of it so it wasn't a favour.

    Simple has shown himself up IMHO

    He is just as desperate as Davies and it shows

    He has deliberately taken what Davies said out of context - let's not forget the comments were made several weeks ago and have no relation to yesterday's fixture

    Just because I hope Morgan get's his career ended on Tuesday doesn't mean Billy Davies has to despise the lovely person as well

    Grow up Davey we want to see tactics on the field not in the press to rile our own fans into action.

    We dislike/hate Forest and Sheff Utd without you trying to stir it up and deflect from yourself being in the spotlight for poor performances.
