Bit weird that the three guys who drove the lorry have never been named. Why would Glasgow Council wish to do a cover up?

Because apparently it was normal bin day but they found out a number of recyclables were found amongst the rubbish and it was embarrassing since it wasn't both bin days

    For their own protection:

"Refuse collecting teams in Glasgow have been subjected to abuse following the bin lorry tragedy which claimed the lives of six people in the city centre.

"The city council has confirmed it is aware of at least one instance of crews being abused, with union sources claiming members of the public have shouted "murderers" at cleansing staff.

"It emerged yesterday that the identities of the driver and passenger of the bin lorry which crashed with tragic consequences nine days ago were being kept from the public in part for their own protection."

Correct decision. No point giving the police more work to do in having to deal with vigilantes in what appears to be a tragic accident.

Three drivers ? Thought it was just one driver who became ill.

Has anything further been said on what actually happened? There were initial rumours of a heart attack for the driver, not heard owt since.

There were 3 in the cab, one driver and 2 bin men but I guess when the driver falls ill there isnt much the other 2 can do
Can see why they havent been named though

The other two could have stopped the lorry by pulling the handbrake which is on the dash apparently but they didn't know that so all Glasgow bin men have been trained on it.

Must be awful for those in the cab knowing now that they could have stopped it

Burgundy Red is spot on and it's the right decision at this stage although it does mean that those with a mob justice mentality do have a very big target.

i had a quick shifty through some of his other videos... its like paint by numbers - just keep adding blocks until you have something that looks like a bull, a dog or a phoenix.

Maybe BFC has some links to the illuminati - Mike Phenix is a sign. :)

I was supposed to be in Glasgow doing my Christmas shopping but due to the weather I decided to head to a shopping centre over by the airport instead.

I ended up in Glasgow the next day, walking down Buchanan Street(massive shopping street) with the usual hustle and bustle, noise, etc. of shoppers until we got the junction with George Square where everyone and everything just fell silent as people looked over to the scene and took a few seconds to take it in. Horrible atmosphere, probably the worst I have ever experienced.
