October, Steve Bruce on the brink of the chop....'one game away' if you believed the local hacks (and I do, despite what Gold is saying this morning!!) Six months later and they're promotoed back to the Premiership.

    One word. Patience.

They will be back down next season,

they were the worst team I saw at Oakwell this season, other than ourselves. They couldnt string 2 passes together.

Considering the money that Bruce has spent on players he doesnt appear to have come close to creating a team that can play football. Hence the crowds at St Andrews being so poor this season.

Like they give a tuppenny phuck!!

They've finished 2nd. Lots and lots of places and points ahead of us. They'll be in the Premiership next year, with a guaranteed minimum return of £30M for just turning up. I doubt they're losing too much sleep about wasting a few chances at Oakwell.

At the moment I am sure they dont ,

but when they are bottom at Christmas having spent the £30M+ on players , playing **** football I guess they will be caring a bit more.

Birmingham fancy themselves as a "Big Club" so I would think they would have more ambition than yo-yoing between the leagues.

I am sure you know best though.

I think Ritchie almost got the chop in our promotion season

There were A LOT of fans saying he should go, and that's generally what does it.

I don't know 'owt fella, other than that a bit of patience goes a long way in football. We'll never ever know, but I'd love to see what might have happened had Gudjon or Ritchie been given a fairer crack at it.

    Doesn't matter...

.. there could be a thread about flower arranging and it would still end up as a AR v SD battle:)

AR's would be flamboyent, whereas SD's may be a little dull but may be able to stay up for longer
