Pay a sponsor to advertise with them.

    Pay a director over 600k a year.

Are being kept afloat on parachute payments and player sales.

Cracking business skills. Or a big fiddle....

Morally, a big fiddle, but it's legal. At the end of the day, like most of football these days it's not a long term sustainable business plan, and a really hope it will come back to bite them on the arse. It's why I was so pissed off that West Ham fluked promotion last year, and will be equally irked if cheating Cardiff go up this season.

Birmingham's a bit different as their owner is facing £60m of money landing charges...

Completely forgot about that! In that case surely their situation is more similar to Portsmouth's. Here's hoping they land in admin before the end of the season. Sadly I think they will hold out for a bit longer yet. Bolton must surely be on pretty ropey financial ground as well.

Bolton owe theirs to one party.... The owner.
