Was in the city centre and it wasn't a good situation - several large groups of youths roaming round dressed all in black with hoodies pulled up and scarves covering their faces - pretty intimidating, although on the other hand what was striking was that none of them said anything to us or gave us any abuse - it just seemed like a bit of a fun night out to them smashing stuff up and on the rob. All the coppers seemed to be doing was just riding around in vans up and down the one way system and never getting anywhere near to any of the gangs or to where the trouble was happening, then just closing roads - which was ******* massively unhelpful as it meant that we had to walk through all the trouble again going back the other way because no taxis could come and pick us up from where we were eating. And also - I didn't know there was that much Mckenzie clothing in the whole world. Not the ideal clothing for starting fires in you wouldn't think, shiny trackies...
Probably think they'll blend in if they're all wearing it. Not like the woman caught looting Curry's (the electrical store, not the food), in her Curry's uniform.
