    Why would you bring in a player that has excelled playing in a deep role, as part of a midfield pairing, and use him differently?

    Just let him sit and let lansbury do the attacking.

    Elsewhere in the Mail it goes on about it being their smallest crowd, twenty six and a half thousand, with very few coming from Barnsley.
    I thought it was a terrific turn out by our fans and quite a lot of AV fans on videos and forums have praised them for the non stop support. It certainly sounded good on Player.
    But twenty six and a half thousand... we can only dream that one day that would be our smallest crowd !!!

    For 30k a week he should be able to play keeper or at the very least more than one position adequately.
