    What an idiot. On a yellow, terrible dive and he wasn't even in the box. He should be fined for that.

    We all have a go at referees but it's true to say that they spend 90 minutes each week trying to control a game where everyone is seemingly trying to cheat. Every incident, they have to try to work out whether the player is cheating or whether what they saw is real. If we could cut out this stuff then the standard of referring might just improve.

    I dunno about a weeks wages fine. If I had my way, that would be retrospectively assessed with a view to a 5 game ban.

    Well done referee for spotting it.
