Bit Baffled by Steve Kean's attempt to get off a drink driving charge

    Only had 2.5 glasses of wine and a bottle of beer so my drink must have been spiked!


    really - 2.5 glasses of wine - highly unlikely to be 125ml "small" measures of 9% stuff

    lets assume they are 175ml of a decent 12% red so thats 4units - he doesnt say what beer but probably at least another 2

    so its easy to assume he had consumed 6 units of alcohol which would put him comfortably over the limit - 4 units is borderline. if he had big glasses of wine he could easily have been close to 8 units and the reading given.

    Pretty sure I wouldnt drive after that amount

    Maybe it might be because he lives in Premierleague land where people are above the law.

    He's a lovely person for driving after drinking that. Like Jack says though, premier league tosspot who sees himself above the law.
