I don't think I listened to that many new albums last year, but Martin Carr's "New Shapes of Life" was probably the best of them. It's one of the most beautiful albums that I've ever had the pleasure of listening to.

Well Conan you do plough a different musical furrow to me. I never recovered from being stuck in an underground uni dig having to listen for 2 hours to Trapeze albums. I thought he was my mate. Then when another bloke made me listen to just one side of Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music, I surmised that he didn't like me either. So, friendless (understandably you may say) I've wandered around like Young Nudge. Many a time I've found a musical home, but because of my age (and the catalogues on the internet) it's been been retro from here.
