Don't worry, I've got all the ones from last night's wedding list, but I need enough tracks to keep the following people happy:-

    Kids

    30-40 year olds
    40-50 year olds
    50- 60 year olds
    60 - Grave

Basically, there won't be any teenagers/ young adults!

We have a band sorted, so we're just looking for the nostalgic tracks to get people dancing & having a good time. Don't need to worry about mushy songs(!)

So a playlist to keep the following range happy .....

Kids ...... to Grave (excepting teens / 20-odds).

Hmmmm. Almost impossible with a fixed selection of music, you'd need ten van loads.

    Why don't you get

    a) A laptop with a dongle to connect ot internet
    b) Load up Spotify
    c) Link laptop to soundsystem
    c) Take requests

everybody's happy, costs are quite cheap.

Well, the idea is to putthe kids stuff on early doors, the band comes on, the kids go outside to play on the grassed area outside; and then when the band goes off, put the tunes on for the old gits.

    Tracks?

I was an 80s kid. I'll reconise them, but I wasn't brought up on them?

And at the risk of replying to myself

close to the witching hour, when I should be in bed ready for a weekend of fun/tragedy in Torquay/Plymouth, I must point out

    1. If they don't like Northern soul, the records are only 3 minutes long

    2. If they don't like Dobie Gray, you can tell them he couldn't decide which 'tache he admired most, Chris Kamara or Adolf Hitler, and settled for a hybrid compromise of both at once. Tragic.
