Bit of good news for anyone who has had a bet on next Barnsley manager

I've put money on them both at Skybet and I've emailed them and had this email reply

Can you please confirm on who you consider is currently the caretaker manager of Barnsley Fc. As a fan of the club I am aware that the club has appointed joint caretaker managers and they MAY be in charge for the remainder of the season. However under your rules a caretaker that completes 10 games in charge (selecting team) are deemed to be the next manager. The tenth match is approaching and I have placed bets on both caretakers.



We have been notified by our traders that both caretaker managers would be paid out as winners should they reach 10 games. Hope this helps.

No they are joint caretakers. By the way some betting a sites will declare it a dead heat and pay half odds.

There's no way we will get Mourinho in, by all accounts he'll be off to Man United in the summer and even if he weren't why would he come here.. you're loose a screw mate. Some fans on here are so delusional why can't you be happy for Hecky having the job without complaining that a world class manager isn't coming in. We are afterall Barnsley for Christ sake, got to be realistic at the end of the day and I just don't think Mourinho will be coming in but happy for you to prove me wrong.

I trust Mr Cryne, and he described Paul as interim head coach. And Paul himself refers to being caretaker head coach. Whereas we've not heard a peep from Tommy, have we?

It was Bunny and Hecky last year, but Bunny was the actual caretaker. This time it's Hecky, with Tommy remaining assistant head coach. On that note, it's interesting isn't it that Bunny wasn't involved this time, nor did Mr Cryne refer to him on the radio the other night when he name-checked our ex Barnsley coaching staff, such as Hassell, Devaney and Tonge.

 

I had a fiver on Tommy Wright as heckingbottom wasn't in betting when it first started , then I had a tenner on heckingbottom when he came into betting . Good news to get paid on both
