lol i think if you press f9 on there you can save where you are at.

The speccy was ace. Used to have loads of cheats for it as well. What i always remember was having to get the volume just right to get some games to load, too loud or quiet and it just wouldnt have it. Other games you could stop it loading in, break into the code, edit some lines to put ya cheat in and then carry on loading again! Genius.

Spent many an hour on that thing before we went to an Amstrad, then the Amiga and then pc's.

ha ha can't remember any save thing but always wondered how they expected to make money out of games you could whack on a cassette recorder yourself. The loading was frustrating though we also ended up with an Amiga

The 48k spectrum was a fantastic piece of kit. The tape errors you got when loading stuff, usually right at the end, were a right pain.

R tape loading error, that's the one lol. It used to wind me up when it happened, it might be just my memory but it always seemed to happen right at the end.

Usually towards the end. But I had a few that did it right after the red and white squiggles. When it should have gone yellow and blue....

Worst I had was football director 2. Sat 15 minutes waiting for it to load (on Christmas day as a present) and it bombed out right at the end.

Needless to say the indestructible +2 ended up t'other end of bedroom

I don't remember that game but I do remember the best football game of all time - 'The Boss' was amazing.

Played on a blue screen. You had to guess the attendances for police coverage?

The only thing Peachy is interested in is Speedball 2, which was on the Amega, but there is no replication of that game for Mac users.

I know I masturbate furiously at times, but the damage that game has done to my wrists is legendary.

Anyone have info, please post. I will buy you several glasses of beer.

Not sure about that, I can't remember that bit but I can't remember half of the stuff being mentioned. In fact all I remember is The Boss, Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy, Daley Thomsons decathlon and a shitty little game called Demons.

No you couldnt save on speccy but you can in that thing online.

We used to play thunderbirds a lot. That was a cracking puzzle game but we never managed to finish it. We spent hours on it. One wrong move and you had to start over.

It was a cracking machine tho and it got me interested in computers which is what ive built my career around so will always be remembered! :) think its still kicking about it my mums attic.
