Congratulations on your win in your biggest game for many a year. (Your Cup final, not ours) Whilst Southend will be re-building for the future (League One) in their new all seater stadium, worthy of Premiership football let alone CCC (Calm down Dingles, not saying we will be in the premiership in 2 years!!), you will be in a dog fight till the death with Hull and Leeds, which I hope you lose. You will, without doubt be down the bottom next year, whilst we were dire, we still looked as though we could score with every attack (not a good sign!!) and IF we had a striker and Indeed Eastwood on the pitch, and a decent official that thought the game was football not volley ball, it would have been a different result. As I say don't get too excited, as you will be back in your rightful place of lower league football, if not this season, then the next. You're a small club, with small support and no financial clout, and have no ability to pull in quality players (foreign imports aside - what was his name, something beginning with F, can't say I noticed him in the game?) and therefore will be back in the lower leagues before long. Glad you succumbed to all my wind ups, and make no mistake, I or indeed most Southend supporters knew all along this year that we would be up against it. But make no mistake, we are moving forward, which I can never see you lot doing. One season in the top flight does not make you a 'big' club. IF,IF you survive, come on Leeds and Ull City, then you will be along with Scnuthorpe, red hot favourites to go down next year and all i can say is enjoy your continued struggle.....Southend will be back in the CCC, better, stronger, financially more secure and a bigger club than the little Dingles. Enjoy your continued nail biting; you will go down...if not this season the next...Now where is that humble pie….mmm tastes good, at least I know I can eat plenty of it and not be your average Yorkshire Pud! Do you actually have any supporters under20Stone
Lol good sense of humour eh?!
How, by getting relegated, are they moving forwards?! They wouldn't fill a better stadium anyway, and they won't be a bigger club than us.
Seems our little win over them in 'our cup final, not theirs' has upset a few of them quite a lot

Is that why they got double their normal crowd? 'You've only come to see the Barnsley...' Southend are a joke.
had to feel for them they should have beaten us at there palce in the cup(thought the game should have been called off) and hammered us here in the cup. in the context of the season we won the 2 that matter
Is this for real? If so, thats the oddest, most strangely bitter, and just plain wrong thing I've read in quite some time. Weird.
RE: Is this for real? It's like looking inside an angry Southend fans mind as they leave the ground just after the final whistle. Why someone would sit at a pc typing the bloody thing in after the match is very odd. Perhaps he lives next to the ground and was still seething. Hope he doesn't pack heat.
Does he not know that we are the longest serving club in the English league 2nd tier.. Seems to me we are in our rightful place.
RE: Does he not know that we are the longest serving club It's the most bizarre criticism of the Reds from another clubs fan I have ever seen. It's akin to Wigan playing Man U and a Wigan fan mouthing off it was Man Us cup final, Man U are a small club etc etc. Sounds to me as though a number of Southend fans thought they just had to turn up on Saturday to win. I would imagine at least 50% of their crowd have only really followed them over the last 3 years (they only used to get crowds of 3-4,000 in the lower leagues), seeing 2 successive promotions and thinking they have a divine right to success......sadly, football does not work like that mi bitter and twisted little Shrimper.
It's most definitely an Essex thing...... Quite a majority of people from that region like to bowl about, 'giving it large' etc. What baffles me is how the hell can Southend feel so bitter, and how come a number of their support seem to think they are a bigger club than us?
RE: It's most definitely an Essex thing...... Probably still think they support West Ham... aren't they displaced cockernees?
