I am employed by an American company though work on a contract to an Austrian one, its the Americans that supply my equipment though eg my laptop We have just had a new antivirus and nanny software installed which I note from the reviews is one that impacts your CPU more than most - I also have no way to bypass it or temporarily turn it off should I need to Just found an annoying problem - all alcohol sales sites are blocked - tried to connect to waitroseCellar last night and its blocked as a "controlled item", same goes for Laithwaites and I tried Brewdog and Black Sheep all blocked. My colleague had the same problem with naked wines this lunchtime. For a laugh I tried a gunstore in the USA - absolutely no problem so its fine for me in my own time to use my work laptop to purchase a semi automatic, but not a bottle of wine. Had to use my ipad instead More concerningly though as an initial workaround I tried to use VPN on Opera and the VPN is now also blocked. No VPN when I am travelling would be very annoying - though its not currently an issue
I used to spend a lot of time in online discussions with US based wedding photographers. If you mentioned having a beer at the end of a 12 hr working day whilst you packed your gear up and said your goodbyes, you’d be roundly castigated for being ‘unprofessional’ and opening yourself up to financial ruin. But if you asked a question about how to carry a concealed weapon whilst also wearing a multi camera strap, you’d get some very helpful advice.
I quite fancied the Ruger 10/22 Semi Auto Takedown Synthetic .22 Rifle at a mere 499.00 but they dont ship to the UK annoyingly so I would have to do click and collect which isnt practical at the moment what with quarantine, non essential travel bans and it being illegal to bring it into this country and all that. Id be quite happy with a bottle of pinot noir
Everyone knows guns and alcohol don’t mix. Something had to give.. Here’s a cool soundtrack, I played this live with Sudden a few times. But that’s REM on the record & I think fella from Waterboys on violin. Must remember to track down a copy of this record for Paul Wadd.
