They're coming into town next year, me and Calgary Tyke's hubby will probably go and watch them. Can't beat a bit of 'War pigs'
Hope you and Wakey enjoy your night. In fact I probably know wakeyred as that's where I used to hang out with the rock and rock band lads from the area.
All men play on 10 ! or is it 11?

They were absolutely brilliant. Ozzy's vocals were as good as I've heard them, I was a little worried after some earlier reviews I'd seen. The sound was great, War Pigs was outstanding. Though I think they maybe tried turning it up a notch for Paranoid because that sounded distorted.
And one of the best atmospheres I've encountered at a Sheffield Arena gig - the crowd were really up for it. Or maybe it was just the contrast between that and Oakwell!
Also made right decision parking at Meadowhall and getting the tram round instead of parking at Arena, I was home by 11:15, I've still been stuck in Arena car park at that time before.

I concurr, Ozzy's voice was great, the atmosphere was brilliant, War Pigs was probably the highlight. I played a blinder with the parking and found a side street 10 mins walk so avoided the car park hell too!! Back home in Wakey for 11.05, boom!!!!

Only just clicked on Manxtyke's photo to enlarge it and realised he's seeing them in Manchester on Wednesday - you won't be disappointed mate.

I saw them at Donington in 2006. To be honest Ozzy's voice was a bit strained but it was still an experience to see the original line up as Bill Ward was still in the band.

    My top three Sabbath songs:-

    Hole In The Sky
    Tomorrow's Dream
    Lord Of This World

    They came on at 8:30.

Support were Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. Never heard of them, but I thought they were ok. A young band from Cambridge (from checking online) that have an early Sabbath sort of style. They had their moments but other bits were boring.

I agree with EastStander, very much in the mould of old Sabbath, but they really only had one song they seemed to play it 5 times!!!
