go to profiles, scroll down to advanced and select. press the blackberry button, (the symbol to the left of the centre button. click edit, go down to sms text and again click the blackberry symbol button, edit then set your tone
go to profiles in the menu scroll down to advanced here you choose the profile you want to change, so if you want to edit the Normal profile select it and press the centre button you can then choose all the notifications that use the Normal profile, if you want the message setting, scroll down to sms text. It's a bit of a fiddle to begin with, but once you get used to it it's good as you can change the settings for everything including in holster and out of holster.
Not sure about that but is a fantastic phone, best out IMO if you go to your main menu and select the downloads which is folder with an arrow through, then select the yellow cross, you can ask how to do anything and get an instant reply!
